La sixième édition du Mapping Festival démonte 10 jours de festivités audiovisuelles. Du 6 au 16 mai 2010, le festival de VJing et travail de l'image en temps réel a rassemblé plus de 10 000 personnes sur ses 7 lieux : Bâtiment d'art contemporain, Théâtre de la Parfumerie, du Grütli, le cinéma Spoutnik, le Zoo/Usine, le temple St Gervais et le Màd. En 2009, le Mapping Festival a rassemblé plus de 5 000 personnes soit plus du double cette année !

En quelques mots, le Mapping Festival 2010 c'est : 10 jours, 7 lieux, 150 artistes du monde entier, 70 bénévoles motivés, 20 membres de l'équipe Mapping, 7 installations, 9 soirées différentes, 1 kids afternoon, 6 workshops, 6 conférences et des rencontres artistiques inoubliables.

Mapping Festivals 6th edition is now over. From May 6 to May 16 2010, the vjing and realtime image work festival has gathered more than 10 000 people in 7 places: Bâtiment d'art contemporain (Contemporary Art Building), Parfumerie Theatre, Grütli Theatre, Spoutnik cinema, Zoo/Usine, St Gervais temple and the Màd. In 2009, the Mapping had gathered more than 5000 people, twice less than this year!

In a few words, Mapping Festival 2010 was: 10 days, 7 places, 150 artists from around the world, 70 willing volunteers, 20 Mapping team members, 7 installations, 9 different parties, a kids afternoon, six workshops, six conferences and unforgettable artistic meetings.

© Jérôme Amoudruz		Au Bâtiment d'art contemporain : Matthias Oostrik pour The Mirror of Broken Time, Alex Posada pour The Particule, Raphaël Diluzio, Solo-Mâtine et Delko pour le vernissage avec des tableaux du visuel de l'affiche du Mapping. Le vernissage de l'exposition du BAC a rassemblé plus de 300 personnes le jeudi 6 mai. Matthias Oostrik for The Mirror of Broken Time, Alex Posada for The Particule, Raphaël Diluzio, Solo-Mâtine and Delko for the exhibition opening with arrays of visual displays of Mapping. The event has gathered more than 300 people on Thursday the 6th of May.

M&Y a été sélectionné vainqueur du VJ Contest par le jury du Mapping parmi les 16 participants du monde entier : Suisse, Urugay, Hongrie, Brésil, Canada, Pérou, Allemagne, Pays Bas, Belgique, Espagne, France et Croatie. M&Y has been selected as the VJ Contest winner by the Mapping jury between the 16 worldwide participants: Switzerland, Urugay, Hungary, Brasil, Canada, Peru, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, France and Croatia. D'autres projets Mapping sont en cours, des collaborations en Europe et de l'autre côté de l'atlantique, mais mais ceci est une autre histoire.
