Bill Fontana, winner of a 2009 Golden Nica as well as the Prix Ars Electronica Collide@CERN Residency Award 2012, was invited to spend four days getting an introduction to CERNâs activities and fields of research right on site in Geneva, Switzerland where heâll begin his residency in June. Weâre all excitedly awaiting the results that will be emerging from this fertile field of interplay at the nexus of art and science.
Bill Fontana is only one of the many prominent names in the remarkable history of the Prix Ars Electronica. If you would like become a part of this history too, then you have until March 8th to submit your project for prize consideration or to nominate exciting ideas and works at prix.aec.at!
Weâre looking forward to receiving lots of visionary entries!
And while youâre online, check out the Ars Electronica Blog for a complete account of Bill Fontanaâs visit to CERN.
