PROGRAM MANAGER SAN FRANCISCO, CA
This pre-IPO firm is in need of Program Managers to perform Customer
Relationship Management and Team Leadership activities for existing
customers. The Program Manager has account management responsibilities for
the clients that have been assigned to his or her team. This includes being
accountable for both customer satisfaction and
profitability of the accounts. Program Managers will serve as a single
point of contact for clients, manage a team of 10-14 Internet Engineers
and Advanced Internet Engineers, assign and monitor work
responsibilities for the team, create and deliver Service Level
Assurance activity reports to the clients, provide customer invoice data
to the finance team, develop and manage to a budget, and manage the
people on his or her team. This includes administering performance
reviews, salary, recognizing good performers and dealing with
performance problems.  Program Managers should have at least 10+ years of
Information technology experience and at least 2 years of employee
management experience. Internet experience is highly desirable. It is
expected that Program Managers will have a bachelor's degree or some
equivalent. Program Managers should be well versed in Internet technologies
and products, although they will not be required to have hands on experience
with these technologies.  A general understanding of the Internet industry
is required, including the following specific topics: trends; major
companies and products; security issues; and
globalization.
