[Nettime-bold] restitution point in austria established

hi!

we have recently established a restitution point for symbolic restitution
of goods stolen from jews by nazis in salzburg // austria


the project aims at making the public aware of the fact that not
everything has been returned [ especially here in salzburg the situation
is rather the other way round ]

the city of salzburg is now blocking our attempts to mark buildings, were
jewish inhabitants had been driven out and forced to flee the country
rigth after the "connection" of austria with the 3rd reich

it seems like some areas of the history of the mozart city must not be
touched even 60 years later
