Presentation du festival dans l'emission "V.I.P." sur Radio Enghien (98 FM) le dimanche 1^er avril 2001 de 16h30 a 18h00 : esprit, musiques et blabla. Journaliste : Dominique Laurent. Intervenants : Pascale Jeanne Morisseau, Christophe Jouanno, Laure Menage et Eric Signor.

Jean-Pierre Theolier :
Guitariste-chanteur abonne aux malentendus, auteur du livre "Residence", Jean-Pierre a officie au sein des groupes angevins Seconde Chambre (80's) et Explosive Coolies (90's) avant de trouver l'eveil du cœur en Chine. http://www.editions-oubliees.fr.st/

Matthieu Malon :

Mon Oncle :
Mon Oncle, groupe pop-rock, se resume aujourd'hui a Pierre, chanteur-guitariste et sa fidele boite a rythme. Mon Oncle s'amuse de voir que les gens trouvent droles ces chansons (inspirees Lloyd Cole, Eels...) qui ne le sont pas.

Eric Signor :
Poetique, ethylique, erotique, mystique, avec beaucoup de vagues...

Fred Signac :
Un univers dont les mots s'accordent au rythme de ballades acoustiques, de petits joyaux de folk-rock a la française, joues tout en delicatesse et respiration. Accompagne par Christophe Jouanno, instigateur de l'album "Le liquide allume".

John Home :
Groupe mysterieux, les John Home, trio rock ou personne ne veut faire la vaisselle, livre une pop intime et intense, pour vivre heureux en attendant la mort, avec des chansons faites a la maison et qui font une maison.

Jean-Yves Lievaux :
Humour et legerete pour l'ancien chanteur de Lievaux-Transfo, groupe d'esthetic-rock des 80's. Se degage sur scene la presence d'un homme heureux et genereux aux textes et a la voix marquees par ses errances intimes.

Lundi 9 avril 2001 :

Lorca :
A l'ombre des arbres cajoleurs, le fond de l'air est frais : Lorca plonge, premiere mise-a-l'autre.

Enslune :
[ãslyn] n.f. : position scientifiquement et esthetiquement parfaite de la lune dans l'espace a cinq dimensions (espace, temps et feerie). Pop. : entite poetico-minimalo-musicale, melancolique par nature mais qui se soigne. http://www.multimania.com/enslune/

Polyanna (chanteuse de John) :
Seule avec sa guitare, la chanteuse du groupe John (de Marseille) laisse libre cours a ses inspirations folk. Deja remarquee lors des soirees Dinosaurs, elle revient murie, forte d'une collaboration avec Dominique A et Françoiz Breut.

Trio pop-folk serenade psycho-acoustic entre pink moon et dark side.

Historique : Le festival Trait d'union (23 janvier 98), La 1^ere Nuit de l'Auteur (20 septembre 98), Les Quatre Jeudis (de janvier a avril 1999), 1^er Festival J'ai Envie (17 et 18 decembre 99).

Dinosaurs renoue avec sa volonte de rassembler et presenter de jeunes artistes de la scene pop-folk independante française. Un certain regard, un esprit de convivialite et de chaleur mis au service de la musique et de la chanson.

Dinosaurs, collectif d'artistes, donne a nouveau envie de decouvrir et de prendre plaisir par la diversite des jeunes createurs en acoustique qu'il presente en formation reduite, l'espace de quatre morceaux. Un beau challenge, proche des writer's nights americaines. A defendre absolument pour la rarete et l'intensite qu'un tel rassemblement suscite : la joie de la rencontre.

Jean-Pierre Theolier :
Guitarist and singer accustomed to misunderstandings, author of the book Residence, Jean-Pierre officiated in the bands Seconde Chambre (80's) and Explosive Coolies (90's) from Angers, before finding the awakening of the heart in China.

Mon Oncle :
Mon Oncle, the pop-rock band, is nowadays reduced to Pierre, the singer-guitarist, and his loyal beat machine. Mon Oncle is amused by the fact that people find his songs (inspired by Lloyd Cole, Eels ...) amusing when they're all but.

Eric Signor :
Poetic, ethylic, erotic, mystic, with plenty of waves ...

Fred Signac :
A universe in which the words agree with the rhythm of acoustic ballads. Little folk-rock gems played in the French way, all in gentleness and respiration. Backed up by Christophe Jouanno (and PJ Morisseau), instigator of the record "Le liquide Allume".

John Home :
A mysterious band, John Home. This rock trio, in which no one wants to do the washing up, delivers an intimate and intense pop-music (that'll make you happy until death takes you) with songs made at home and which make a home.

Jean-Yves Lievaux :
Humour and flightiness for the former singer of Lievaux-Transfo, an 80's aesthetic-rock band. On stage, the presence of a happy and generous man emerges, his lyrics and voice marked by his intimate wandering.

Monday 9th of April 2001 :

Lorca :
In the shade of cajoling trees, the breeze is cool : Lorca dives in for her first show.

Enslune :

Polyanna :
Alone with her guitar, John's singer gives free rein to her folk inspirations. Already noticed during Dinosaurs' previous events, she comes back mature, after a collaboration with Dominique A. and Françoiz Breut.

Chronological account : the 1^st festival Trait d'union (The link - 23^rd of January 98), the 1st Festival "La Nuit de l'Auteur (20^th of September 98), Les Quatre Jeudis (The four Thursdays, from January to April 1999), the 1st Festival J'ai Envie (I want to - 17^th and 18^th of December 99).

Dinosaurs renews its will to bring together and present young artists from the pop folk French independent scene. A certain perspective, a spirit of friendship and warmth are here to serve music and songs.

Dinosaurs, group of artists, once more makes us want to discover and take pleasure in the diversity of young songwriters which it presents acoustically and in a small formation for four songs. A beautiful challenge close to the US' Writer's nights. A must to defend for the rarity and the intensity aroused by such a gathering : the joy of meeting up.
