Musée d'Art Moderne Paris 1999 i-lab is an experimental, multi-disciplinary, open-access media laboratory that provides young artists the space to develop projects that are under way within a framework of exchanges and get-togethers. i-lab is a groupware project which has been installed at the first time in the Parisian Musée d'Art Moderne. The i-lab presents a serie of conferences about net art, media strategies, art & economy, a work-in-progress installation on the theme of communication, daily life, subjectivity and a client/server-bus offering various programmed trips in and around Paris. 2. New York City Workspace 2000 i-lab represents an opportunity, to create new contacts, with other groups, organisations or indivituals who work or have been working quite a while already, according to similar experimental and relational criteria. Future common projets as well as connections, exchanges of ideas and information might be established. i-lab propose a platform for presenting projects and ideas, lectures and conferences.
