The Embarkation of the New Shiseido Gallery and a New Story
about "ex-" Kcho x Kenji Yanobe

A new Tokyo Ginza Shiseido Building will be born in March at the site of
the Shiseido Parlor Building, a long-time Ginza landmark. The new building
was designed by Spanish architect, Ricardo Bofill, highly acclaimed for
his ability to fuse historical and high-tech elements.  The Shiseido
Gallery has been closed for four years for reconstruction and will open in
the basement floor of the building. The renewed galleryユs
atmosphere has totally changed.  It has a white floor and walls, like a
white cube.  The five-metre ceiling gives a spacious feel to the two
separate exhibition areas; an ideal space for bold yet subtle
presentations....
