<nettime> nettime interruptus |
Dear Nettimers, you may have noticed, there were no nettime posts during the last few days. The reason for this interruption was a server migration at The Thing. bbs.thing.net was freed from much of its legacy code, some dating back as far as 1997, and put on new and much improved hardware. Thanks to the excellent work of Darrel O'Pry, the TT sys admin, the stability of the server, and hence of nettime, has improved considerably. A happy mod squad. PS: If you've sent a message to nettime in the last few days, you might want to resend it. Some message could have evaporated. # distributed via <nettime>: no commercial use without permission # <nettime> is a moderated mailing list for net criticism, # collaborative text filtering and cultural politics of the nets # more info: majordomo@bbs.thing.net and "info nettime-l" in the msg body # archive: http://www.nettime.org contact: nettime@bbs.thing.net
