   What Angelos' remarks show is the disjunct between state policy and the
   perception of honest people on the ground in a place like Baltimore. I
   have never seen such a large US city left in such a state of
   abandonment. Meanwhile Obama tells America to start soul-searching
   about poverty while he's negotiating the TPP with Japan! That's a
   policy guaranteed to divest everyone of local control and feed the
   capitalist machine in Asia. What's going on here is the total
   instrumentalization of people's lives for the needs of the rich and
   arrogant. The abuse perpetrated by the police reflects the abuse
   perpetrated by their masters. Let's call all that out from the ground
   up. It's just unbearable.
