But still, I do appreciate the message flow.  Correspondents
(via moderation) are taking advantage of this medium to present 
a broad spectrum of opinion, some presented in rational/logical, 
some more poetic, some "objective", some clearly subjective, but 
this is the only forum where I am seeing such a range of opinion 
and of types of material.  I appreciate it very, very much.

To help out people like yourself, our moderator might add "K:" 
to the subject line of the Kosovo messages ?

"Me", I think that the nettime-l is the appropriate place for collaborative
texts and/or colliding rants that analyze, deconstruct and possibly explode
propaganda coming from both sides, anything related to infowar and urban
legends about what is going on. Above all, Nettime is the best place to
check out the relationships between this war and the Internet, the way the
former changes attitudes on the latter and the latter affects descriptions
of the former. Yes, a serbia-l could be created, but it'd be a lot easier
to change the focus of the discussion. For example, as soon as a new issue
is thrown in the pond (NATO deserters? Serbian hackers? Bombed refugee
convoys? Mass graves detected by satellites? Serbian spies in NATO ranks?),
people could compare, with scientific rigor, the version available at
http://www.serbia-info.com/ with the press release at http://www.nato.int/,
etc.
Again, the nettime-l is a pretty good place for covering antiwar
activities, especially those that can be described as, you know,
"electronic civil disobedience" (those who don't like this phrase anymore
can choose the trendiest piece of jargon).
