Linux Audio Cursus Working with Linux? With the most important OpenSource audio projects for midi sequencers, softsynths, effect plugins and samplers? WORM offers a Linux audio course developed by Lieven Moors. Even though the worldwide collaboration in the OpenSource world is starting to bear fruit and there are continually more different Linux distributions available for musicians (e.g Ubuntu Studio, JAD, Dynebolic), it still is difficult to find an entrance point into this world. But working with these OpenSource audio programs has a big advantage as they have much more to offer than traditional audio and midi software. WORM offers a Linux audio course, developed by Lieven Moors, to pass on necessary and sufficient knowledge for working with Linux audio software to fellow musicians. The course consists of 12 lessons, each three hours, given on tuesday nights from 19.30 till 22.30 at WORM. The course will be in English.
