		BODY AND DANCE WORKSHOP

		In SUBOTICA, YUGOSLAVIA

		"The body that measures the landscape, the body in
intercourse with weather, the body kissing mass of peat, the body in
love-death relation to the day. For me the dance has been a symbol of
despair and courage."

		Born in 1945 in Tokyo, Min Tanaka is Director of Dance
Resources on Earth, the Tokason Butoh Troupe and the Hon-Mura Project
Organic Farm. He founded The Body Weather Laboratory in 1978 in Japan.
		The workshop is a forum open not only to dancers, but to
anyone determined to investigate the possibilities of expression through the
body within various environments. "The Body is not a set entity. It
constantly changes, like the weather."





		Where:


		The workshop will be held in Palic, near the town of
Subotica, in Vojvodina. The landscape in this region of Yugoslavia at the
Hungarian border, is composed of a vast sandy plain with a few lakes, fields
and pine and bark forests. Through it runs the river Tisza.

		When:
		The 8-day intensive session will run from June 28th to July
5th 2002.

		Practical informations:

		Access: By Car- Take the Budapest Highway direction
Belgrade, exit Subotica (200 km south of Budapest)
		By Train- International Budapest-Subotica
		By Plane- Airports in both Budapest and in Belgrade (200 km
from Subotica)

		On June 27th someone will be welcoming participants between
9am and 6pm in Subotica, at the Yufest Caffe -in the theatre building-
located on the main square, across from the town hall.

		Lodging: at the "Etno Camp",which is a pine wood camping
site with hot showers and toilets.
		Each participant will be asked to bring his/her own camping
material.
		Food: 3 meals/ day are included in the price of tuition.
		Insurance: All participants are required to have Personal
Insurance.
		Visa: Organisers will provide you with an official letter of
invitation to be submitted with your visa application to the Yugoslavian
Embassy or Consulate in your country.
		Price: 490euro for 8-day, all inclusive except
transportation.
