*ESSL ART AWARD CEE 2013* oferÄ vizibilitate la nivel internaÅional
tendinÅelor actuale ale scenelor europene tinere din Bulgaria, CroaÅia,
RomÃnia, Slovacia, Republica CehÄ, Ungaria Åi, pentru prima datÄ, scenei
din Istanbul, Turcia. ÃnfiinÅat de colecÅionarii de artÄ austrieci Agnes Åi
Karlheinz Essl, ESSL ART AWARD CEE este organizat Ãn strÃnsÄ colaborare cu
experÅi, muzee Åi academii de artÄ din opt ÅÄri participante Èi din
Austria. Prin intermediul acestui premiu, Domnul Åi Doamna Essl ÃÅi
demonstrezÄ suportul pentru artiÅtii emergenÈi Åi propun un stimulent
important pentru tinerele talente. ÃncepÃnd din 2005, acest premiu a ajuns
la cea de-a 5-a ediÅie.

Juriul, alcÄtuit din experÅi proveniÅi din ÅÄrile participante Èi Austria,
a selectat, din mai mult de 500 de aplicaÅii, 10 nominalizaÅi din fiecare
ÅarÄ, ale cÄror lucrÄri vor fi prezentate Ãn âNominees' Nightâ, programate
Ãn perioada mai 2013 Ãn toate ÅÄrile participante. Ãn seara deschiderii
expozitiei (âNominees' Nightâ) doi artiÅti din fiecare ÅarÄ vor primi
distincÈia ESSL ART AWARD CEE.

exhibition *ESSL ART AWARD CEE 2013 /* *NOMINEES' NIGHT ROMANIA.*

exhibition curator and jury members, press corner

*Exhibition*: May 28 - June 23, 2013

The ESSL ART AWARD CEE 2013 gives international visibility to
up-to-the-minute tendencies in the young European art scene
in Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, the Slovak and Czech Republics, Hungary and,
for the first time, Istanbul, Turkey. Established by the Austrian art
collectors Agnes and Karlheinz Essl, the ESSL ART AWARD CEE is organised in
close co-operation with experts, museums and art academies from the eight
participating countries, where the family business bauMax is active. With
this award, Mr. and Mrs. Essl demonstrate their commitment to the support
of young artists and provide an inspiring incentive for young talents.
Since 2005, this prize will be awarded for the fifth time.

From the more than 500 applications, the jury, consisting of experts from
the participating countries and Austria, shortlisted 10 nominees per
country whose work will now be presented in the âNomineesâ Exhibitionsâ
scheduled for May 2013 in all participating countries. On the opening
night, or âNomineesâ Nightâ, two artists in each country will receive
the ESSL ART AWARD CEE.
