Originam de undeva ca specii, dintr-o sursa primordiala, datatoare de viata si date genetice prestabilite. Dar nu despre genetica este vorba in aceste lucrari, ci despre poetica originarului, despre arhetipuri si despre stadiile incipiente ale maternitatii si adoratiei Filtrele omului contemporan supraimpun acestei inferente despre nostalgia propriei nasteri o abordare ironica si auto-ironica, in care terra madre nu e din lut proaspat, ci din ceramica pictata sau diverse materiale manufacturate – carton, hârtie imprimata, polistiren, spuma poliuretanica si alte “fructe” ale industrializarii si productiei in masa. http://aiurart.ro/maria-pop-timaru-mu-ma/ * In her recent works, Maria Pop Timaru calls on essences and roots, on fixed, primordial structures, where one can observe strategies of questioning the deepest layers of belonging and of source discovery. As species, we originate from somewhere, from a primordial, life-giving source and preset genetic data. But these works are not about genetics, but rather about the poetics of the primeval, about archetypes and the first stages of motherhood and adoration. The filters of the contemporary human mind superimpose an ironic and self-teasing approach to the nostalgia of one’s self-birth, in which the terra madre is not wet clay, but painted ceramics or various manufactured materials – cardboard, printed paper, polystyrene, polyurethane foam and other “fruits” of industrialization and mass production. *Moder* is the English, archaic term for Mother (Mama), as it first appears in Geoffrey Chaucer’s writings. * Alte expozitii in curs @Aiurart: Vlad Berte: Manhood / AMR – Sculptura en plein air-ul Aiurart Curator: Ioana Ciocan 21.05.2013 - 20.07.2013 http://aiurart.ro/manhood-amr-sculptura-en-plein-air-ul-aiurart-vlad-berte/ Imaginarium fotograficus - Fotografii de Cristina Soiman.
