Hello,

The Duncan Baird Publishing list continues to expand, and now comprimises
over thirteen International titles. In 2001 the titles published include
'musicdot.com', 'Designers' Stationery' and 'Designers' Self Promotion'.
'Type No Borders, No Boundries, No Limits' goes to press soon for
publication in early 2002.

CALL FOR ENTRIES
We are planning three new projects next year and are now calling for
entires for the following titles:

'TYPOGRAPHICS 5' - The focus of this fifth book in the 'Typographics'
series is magazine design. Tnis can include consumer magazines, company
publications and short run specialist publications, as well as web based
magazine sites.

'BIG IDEAS' - The aim of this project is to produce a folio of work showing
the development of innovative concept-based design. Final examples of work
should ideally be accompanied by early proposals, sketches and notes.

'BIG TYPE' - Work submitted should be predominantly typographic in nature,
including typeface design.

IMPORTANT:
PLEASE ENSURE WORK REACHES US BY DECEMBER 14th AS THE INITIAL REVIEW
PROCESS WILL TAKE PLACE BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR.

PLEASE ATTACH A FULLY COMPLETED COPY OF THE ATTACHED 'CAPTION & CLEARANCE'
FORM TO EACH SUBMISSION.

If you wish to email submissions, please ensure that all attachments are
less than 2 MB. We are also happy to recieve original material, colour
printouts, transparencies or work on zip Disc/CD. Digital files should be
in CMYK colours and high resoloution (300 dpi), Photoshop (tiff or eps),
Illustrator, Freehand or QuarkXPress as eps (Mac Format).
