Juniradio (http://juniradio.net mailto:alle@juniradio.net) ist ein temporaeres,
unabhaengiges und kollektiv produziertes Radio, das vom 8. bis 30. Juni fuer 24
Stunden am Tag in Berlin auf 104,1 UKW (und ueberall sonst im Internet) zu
empfangen sein wird. Juniradio ist die Einladung zu einem Radioprogramm, dass
die Chance hat, sich von so ziemlich allem, was in Berlin fuer gewoehnlich durch
den Aether geht, sehr grundsaetzlich zu unterscheiden.

Der lokale wie internationale Zusammenhang, aus dessen Beitraegen sich das
Juniradio zusammensetzen wird, umfasst mittlerweile mehr als 300 Personen und
Gruppen. Als inhaltliche Schwerpunkte haben sich bisher elektronische Musik und
ihre Auslaeufer, politische Information und Kritik sowie Radiokunst und
Sound-Art herauskristallisiert - auch wenn der groesste Teil der Beitraege sich
gegen solche Kategorisierungen sperrt und das Radioprogramm statt von den
ueblichen Trennungen eher von unvorhergesehenen Verbindungen gepraegt sein soll.

(2) FALLS DU DIR UEBERLEGST EINE SENDUNG ZU MACHEN

Wir sind weiterhin an Vorschlaegen fuer moegliche Sendungen interessiert. Da wir
bereits am 8. Juni zu senden beginnen, sollten uns solche Vorschlaege so bald
wie moeglich erreichen und auch schnell so konkret werden, dass wir verbindliche
Vereinbarungen treffen koennen.

Wichtig waere, neben einer Beschreibung des "Inhalts", vor allem die Laenge der
Sendung (55 Minuten, 5 Minuten, anderes), etwaige Termine (insbesondere solche,
die nicht in Frage kommen) und der gewuenschte Sende-Modus (also Vorproduktion
oder Live-Sendung).

(3) FALLS DU SCHON EINE SENDUNG VORGESCHLAGEN HAST

Wer mit dem Juniradio bereits Kontakt aufgenommen hat, kann ab sofort die Daten,
die wir zu der vorgeschlagenen Sendung gesammelt haben, einsehen und editieren.
Das ist vor allem deshalb wichtig, weil das Netz der Beteiligten so weit
verzweigt ist, dass fast zwangslaeufig Informationen verloren gehen oder Fehler
passieren. Darueber hinaus benoetigen wir dieses Feedback, um Sendungen von
Vorschlaegen zu festen Zusagen machen zu koennen. Auf diese Weise wird sich bis
Ende Mai ein genauer Sendeplan mit konkreten Terminen ergeben.

Vorproduzierte Sendungen nehmen wir ab sofort per Post oder, besonders gern, als
FTP-Upload entgegen. Unsere Postanschrift ist Juniradio c/o Bootlab,
Ziegelstrasse 20, 10117 Berlin (bei Sendungen von ausserhalb der EU "not for

Franke, Hannah Hurtzig). Juniradio ist, senderechtlich, eine Veranstaltung der
Volksbuehne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz.

Juniradio (http://juniradio.net mailto:alle@juniradio.net) is a temporary,
independent and collectively organized radio station that will broadcast from
June 8 until June 30 2003, 24 hours per day, on 104.1 FM in Berlin and as a live
stream on the internet. Juniradio is the invitation to a radio programm that has
a chance to radically differ from almost anything that regularly crosses Berlin
ether.

The local and international networks that both contribute to and constitute
Juniradio already consist of more than 300 individuals and groups. The current
thematic focus appears to be electronic music and its derivates, political
information and criticism, and various flavors of radio art - even though a
large part of the contributions proves to be immune agains such categorization.
If Juniradio will have a format, it will not emerge along the lines of the usual
separations, but rather happen as a result of surprising connections.

(2) IN CASE YOU CONSIDER CONTRIBUTING A PROGRAM

We are still interested in your proposals for potential programs. Since
Juniradio starts June 8, such propoals should reach us as soon as possible, and
they should quickly become so specific that we can make precise agreements that
both sides can rely on.

Apart from a description of your "content", the most crucial pieces of
information are the length of your program (55 minutes, 5 minutes, other), dates
and times (most importantly those that would not work for you) and the mode of
your participation (pre-produced program or live broadcast).

(3) IN CASE YOU HAVE ALREADY MADE A PROPOSITION

If you have already contacted Juniradio, you can now access and edit the data
that we have collected about your program. What makes this step so important is
the fact that the risk to lose information and make mistakes grows with the
number of participants. But we also depend on this feedback to transform each
proposal into a definite part of the program. This way, a precise schedule with
exact dates and times will emerge until the end of May.
