It ranges from acclaimed interactive and video art to Mad Max-style media activists. Joni Taylor is an Australian curator and journalist currently in Berlin, who for the past two years has been running the Electrofringe Festival, an electronic media and art festival that occurs as part of This Is Not Art in Newcastle, on the East coast of Australia. She will talk about current ideas that motivate new media makers in Australia, about different artists and groups that are pushing the boundaries, festivals and organisations that support these emerging practices, and about opportunities for local and international collaborations. http://www.electrofringe.org - http://thisisnotart.org ------------------------------------------------------- rohrpost - deutschsprachige Liste zur Kultur digitaler Medien und Netze Archiv: http://www.nettime.org/rohrpost http://post.openoffice.de/pipermail/rohrpost/ Ent/Subskribieren: http://post.openoffice.de/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rohrpost/
