JAZZ@COLIBRI

New  jazz club in St. George city, district of Covasna, in Romania.
Established at 10 May 2001 in the Colibri Bar by initiative of:
-Csurulya Arpad - graphic artist, publisher, amateur musician
-Wagner Bernd - IT professional
-Adrian Russu - lawyer, former curator of  "1001 Jazz evenings" - Bucharest
(closed in
1977)
-Petraskovits Ester - professional musician
-Aaron Herbst - music retail dealer
-Baraba Sandor - Colibri Bar owner
-Rab Sandor - historian
-Kiss Bella - painter and sculptor, jazz club curator (St. George Jazz
Club - temporary out
of activity)
-Musat Iuliu - curator at St. George Creation House
...AND MANY OTHERS...
The club have no curator or organiser.
No one pretend the paternity of the club.
The club mean simply a group of jazz fans, meeting every Thursday from 7
p.m. in the
Colibri Bar,
-to listen jazz music (especially recorded) from "rag time" to "free jazz"
and
contemporary jazz music,
-to discuss and change information about music and art events.
In fact the club is a place for any opened, relaxed and fair discussion
about any subject
(actual or not).
Soon we intend to have our web page and we hope to make possible the on line
connection for any other person in the world interested to join us. Till
