once again the request NOT to send attachments to this (or any other) list;
esp. at a time when communication is so limited and endangered anyway, you
should stick to low-K text messages. forget about attachments, abandon
html-coding, long live pure text.

maybe it would help if more people who object to attachments being sent on
the list voiced their concern.
