EXECUTIVE PROJECT MANAGER

Job Description:

General management of operations for a culture information service with
experience of structured project management methodology and scheduling
multi-level production. Control/ capacity planning experience in a complex
production environment. Excellent knowledge of the policies and best
practice standards in the cultural sector. Provide assistance to the
subdivision projects manager on the management & control of projects.
Ability to maintain a cohesive, positive and productive team. Co-ordinate
activities, monitor & report on progress to plans. Fund-raising and
governmental and post-governmental relations. Represent the WIO in
establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients and
partners. Staff recruitment and general understanding of controlling and
budgets.
Successful record of working in a team environment. Demonstrated effective
skills with presentations, negotiation, and oral/written communications.
Effective interpersonal relation and communication skills. Computer skills
to include networking and standard software packages. High level of
awareness of sensitive cultural, social and political issues.
Very good command of english, good command of french, preferably dutch.

CHIEF RESEARCH MANAGER

Job Description:

General research supervision, leads and manages the research team building
a knowledge ressource base suitable for public information services and
campaining measures. Open minded, reliable team player leading information
gathering and research documentation departments. Results and
delivery-oriented individual independent, self motivated quality awareness,
excellent communication and leadership skills. High level of awareness of
sensitive cultural, social and political issues. Computer skills to include
networking and standard software packages and working with knowledgebase
installations and site designs according to documented standards. Ability
to solve problems quickly and completely; Working in a team environment
with division and projects managers.
Very good command of english, good command of french, preferably dutch.

Main Fields of Research:
Processes of global content and meta-data production, channels and flows of
information and electronic media. Research into economic aspects of
information distribution and security issues as well as electronic
identification systems.
