[Nettime-bold] THE largest outbreak in history |
While US Congress was hearing professionals speak on the issue of biological warfare, the largest outbreak of Crimean-Congo Haemorrhagic Fever in history emanated from within Afghanistan, among the Afghan refugees on Pakistan border. CCHF is like Ebola, only worse. It is interesting how it caught those who tried to elude Taliban's and Al Qaeda's efforts to use them as human shields against the possible foreign attack. Is it a time for CDC to start vaccinating people? http://www.portal.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2001 /10/04/wref04.xml&sSheet=/news/2001/10/04/ixhome.html _______________________________________________ Nettime-bold mailing list Nettime-bold@nettime.org http://www.nettime.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nettime-bold
