Electronic Witches," Maja Čule’s latest exhibition with the gallery, will open on November 10, 2023. The exhibition comprises a multi-channel video installation that recounts the story, set in 1990s Croatia, of American and British activists who arrived to teach women email communication through the BBS network during the Yugoslav Wars, dubbing themselves "Electronic Witches." Their efforts spanned across Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia, imparting essential internet and computer knowledge amidst wartime.
